Jo Jung Suk’s agency JS Company released an official statement regarding the rumors on October 18, emphasizing that they will no longer tolerate the rumors regarding Jo Jung Suk and will take strong legal action against them.
The statement begins, “Currently, an absurd and malicious rumor about Jo Jung Suk is spreading via Internet communities. Since Jo Jung Suk is a popular actor who is widely loved, we have been tolerating most groundless rumors and did not take strong action.”
The agency continues, “However, it has come to a point where we cannot just leave these rumors to be spread. Not only Jo Jung Suk himself, but his loving family members have become the target of ridiculous speculation.”
“From now on, JS Company will take strong legal action against all Internet posts or comments with malicious rumors, false information, or personal attacks that can defame our artist’s honor. We will not show any kind of tolerance in taking strong legal action and will actively put in effort to stop any more damage from happening,” the statement concludes.
